With Amaya Torres – Elastic Arts Foundation

“Sudaka Actionism” is the name of the collective that Amaya Torres and I make up, and it is also the name of our first performance together. These are absurd experiments in the paroxysm of madness. We began by setting up an impossible and chaotic laboratory, then we proceeded to ask for volunteers to obtain a drop of blood (only 5 dared); these drops were placed on a piece of white cloth that Amaya had cut out of my robe, which looked like a flag. A knife was the staff of this little flag of blood and it was stuck in a brain – a pig’s brain in the shape of a cube.

We tied a pigskin between two ladders, made a hole with a dagger that I took out of my vagina, and I climbed the ladder to pour the drops of blood on a metal chalice that was on an electric burner. The blood evaporated and we all breathed blood vapor.

Amaya urinated in a cup and threw his urine at himself. I also urinated in a cup and drank my urine. A series of eschatological actions, which referred to Viennese Actionism, but a South American version. At the end of the performance, he was alone walking in the dark among the people, and I shined a flashlight on him. Everything was silent and the wood of the floor creaked.
